Let your dreams soar with the first trailer for Paper Planes

Paper Planes

The first trailer for upcoming Australian film Paper Planes has been released online. It’s a great trailer and positions the film as a fun and exciting experience for the whole family. Australian films often deal with darker themes and material, so it’s always nice to occasionally see one that skews a bit lighter. Paper Planes boasts an incredible ensemble cast, including Sam Worthington, Deborah Mailman, David Wenham, and Ed Oldenbould in the lead role. The film was supported by the MIFF Premiere Fund and is directed by Robert Connolly.

Here’s the synopsis for the film:

Twelve-year-old Dylan (Oxenbould) lives with his father (Worthington) in the West Australian outback. One day at school Dylan discovers he is extremely good at making and flying paper planes. While attempting to refine and develop his newly realised ability, Dylan finds himself caught up in the world of competitive paper-plane making, leading to new friendships, new rivalries and new revelations about his own family.
