Jurassic World is so big that its trailer needs a trailer

jurassic world

The very long-awaited fourth installment in the iconic Jurassic Park film series is not longer just a rumour, with the blockbuster to be released on June 12, 2015. Just in case you still refuse to believe the news, a teaser has dropped before the first full-length trailer, which is expected to be unveiled on November 27th, is released. Now there is no denying that this almost 14 year gap between films is finally coming to a close.

Along with the launch of a viral website earlier this week, this teaser marks the beginning of what will undoubtedly be a massive promotional campaign seeing as this has been one of the most in-demand sequels in cinema history.

The above website is found through another website for a mysterious company called Masrani, and it’s pretty clear that this is a corporation which will play a part in the plot of Jurassic World. Masrani are apparent owners of InGen Corporation, the group of bio engineers which was headed by John Hammond in the first film.

Rapidly rising Hollywood hero Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation, Guardians of the Galaxy) will be leading up the film’s cast, which includes B.D Wong (Law & Order: SVU, Oz) from the original film, as well as Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3), Ty Simpkins (Insidious), and Judy Geer (Arrested Development). Director Colin Trevorrow (best known for 2012 comedy Safety Not Guaranteed) co-wrote the film with executive producer Steven Spielberg. Earlier this year Trevorrow let is slip that there are possible sequels planned following Jurassic World, turning it into something which could “potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story.”

Watch the teaser for the trailer below and prepare for when the full-length trailer drops on November 27th.

If watching water ripple from what seems like an approaching dinosaur isn’t exciting enough for you then re-live the greatness that is Jurassic Park by watching the original trailer.

And you might as well watch this…
