With an interesting set cast, Hot Tub Time Machine 2 seems to be of all promise for its comedic nature and direct crude lines. Following Paramount Pictures official release of its film trailer, it’s only a taste of what the film is really all about.
When Lou (Rob Corddry) ends up in trouble, it is Nick (Craig Robinson) and Jacob’s (Clark Duke) job to travel back in time via the hot tub time machine in attempts of helping Lou. However, the guys find themselves in the future instead where they suddenly meet Adam Jr, (Adam Scott of Parks and Recreation).
The trailer itself showcases witty one liners and not to mention Adam Jr’s trippy hallucinations of a drug that is planted on his neck. We then witness all the characters go through different ‘rooms’ of the future and realise during their journey that what they need to do is fix what’s wrong in the future to save what is left in the past. Not to mention, the ridiculously hilarious transformations the characters go through as they ‘age’. For those who enjoyed the last film, this may be the anticipated sequel for you yet!
Hot Tube Time Machine 2 will be available in cinemas April 9th!
