Hurry before it’s taken down (Update: It was taken down, but the official HD trailer is up). A full trailer for Season 5 of Game of Thrones has been filmed in an IMAX screening and uploaded to YouTube for the realm to see. While a David Bowie cover (“Heroes” by TV on the Radio) burns in the background we get a glimpse of all the new developments that will unfold when the new season premieres in mid-April.
And they’re all here: creepy Lord Balelish; creepy Lord of Bones; honourable Brienne of Tarth; hateful Queen Cersei; on-the-lam (and hairy) Tyrion; battle-ready Jon Snow; vague Varys; lucky Tommen; Daenerys, breaker of wheels; pit fighter Ser Jorah; razor sharp Olenna Tyrell; strangely sympathetic Reek; dude that gets knocked off horse; dragon breathing fire etc.
It’s also looking like Varys and Tyrion are on the verge of treading the same path as Daenerys. Which is supremely exciting.
