Well Hunger Games may have slowed a little. Mockingjay Part 1 has been relegated to 2nd spot earning $1.7 million. No small feat but the action flick has been toppled by the second installment of comedy goldmine Horrible Bosses. The film (read our review here!) fell just short of $2 million.
Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings continues to do good numbers in its second week, earning $1.6 million while Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day continues to please families everywhere, pulling in a solid million.

Paddington had a great opening week, opening just in time for the school holidays. It raked in a cool $1.3 million.

Interstellar’s momentum has definitely been stifled – the mega release dropping to 6th spot, making just $600.000 beating out Nightcrawler which made $269,000.
Side note. Gone Girl is still sticking around. Although its days seem numbered, the drama still holds 10th spot in its 10th week.
