Sydney’s Central Park announces a “Silent Disco” inspired Film Festival

From becoming part of Vivid Sydney’s program for the first time this year, to embracing the aMBUSH Gallery, Sydney centre Central Park has been impressively adding its mark to the artistic scene in Sydney since it opened in 2013. Marvel’s slate of Stage 3 MCU films gets shuffled as an Ant-Man sequel is confirmed

With Stage 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) now wrapped up thanks to Ant-Man, fans are eagerly anticipating the start of Stage 3 – which is proving to be a mammoth undertaking. First trailer for Trumbo unites Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston with the likes of Helen Mirren, John Goodman and Louis C.K.

Director Jay Roach – the man who brought us Austin Powers and Meet The Parents – is getting a little more serious in his new film Trumbo, a film which brings together an incredible cast.  Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston starts as the titular characters alongside the likes of Helen Mirren, Diane Lane, John Goodman, Louis C.K. and Elle Fanning. They collectively find themselves in a true story about Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo (Cranston), who was blacklisted during America’s infamous “let’s assume everyone is a Communist” era in the late 1940s. Australian Box Office Report: The Martian finds revenue on Mars!

Surely NASA and Fox are in cahoots here. First the earth shattering announcement that they have found water on Mars and now The Martian, Ridley Scott’s newest has done some amazing numbers in the box office. I’m probably a nut, but conspiracy theories aside, Mars is getting all the spotlight lately as the space drama rakes in an impressive $6 million in its opening weekend in Australia.
