Activision is charging $70 AUD for the standalone Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster

The remastered edition of Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will hit store shelves as a standalone release tomorrow. Despite being a ten year old game and functionally unchanged beyond the fresh coat of paint, Activision has given it an RRP of $70 AUD.

IO Interactive goes 100% independent, takes Hitman franchise with them

For fans of the long-running Hitman series, last month’s revelation at that publisher Square Enix was parting ways with developer IO Interactive came as a shock. What would happen to the Hitman IP that IO created? Would the rights remain at Square Enix? Would IO Interactive collapse? E3 2017: Insomniac’s Spider-man blends the best of Batman: Arkham and Uncharted

Insomniac Games closed out tonight’s PlayStation press briefing with a truly bonkers look at their forthcoming game, currently simply titled Spider-man. It takes the pick-your-battles, gadget-heavy approach of the Batman: Arkham games and melds it with the over-the-top action movie rollercoaster of the Uncharted series. What’s more?
