It may have been 14 years since we last saw the Parr Family aka The Incredibles doing their superhero thing but with the brand new The Incredibles 2, barely any time has passed in their timeline.
We get to see dad Bob Parr/Mr Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) trying to be the good stay-at-home father figure, whilst his wife Helen/Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) gets recruited to bring superheroes back into the spotlight and in public favour. Bob struggles juggling home life with a moody Violet (Sarah Vowell), a sarcastic Dash (Huck Milner) and trying to tame baby Jack-Jack’s ever crazy number of powers that appear to be manifesting.
We get to see some fan favourites return including Lucius Best/Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) and Edna Mode (voiced by the film’s director and writer Brad Bird), as well as us finally getting to see a masked villain with hypnotism powers who appears to be the Parr family’s new foe.
The film written and directed by Brad Bird, who helmed the original (and other animated masterpieces like The Iron Giant), will bust into Australian cinemas from 14 June 2018.
