Game of Thrones,Veep and O.J. win big at the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

The 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was held today at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles California. The biggest winners of the night were Game of Thrones, Veep and The People v. O.J. Simpson, with the first two winning their Best Drama and Best Comedy awards for the second consecutive year. Both took out a number of other categories, including Madame President Julia Louis-Dreyfus who won her 5th consecutive trophy for her role in Veep.

Rami Malek took home his first ever Emmy for outstanding performance for his role in Mr. Robot, and Tatiana Maslany enjoyed a much deserved Emmy for her brilliant performance as the clones in Orphan Black. Elsewhere on the night, Transparent, Baskets and Saturday Night Live enjoyed acting wins, while Aussie actor Ben Mendelsohn wasn’t in attendance to receive his award for Bloodline.
