Legendary composer Hans Zimmer is touring his classic soundtracks in Australia in less than three weeks

Legendary composer Hans Zimmer has won just about every award in the book – but he’s never performed in Australia. In less than three weeks, however, he’ll be changing that, with a massive arena show called Hand Zimmer Revealed, set to hit the capital cities, shortly after performing in California at the iconic Coachella Music & Arts Festival.

The show is dubbed a “Multi-Layered Experience” and will feature visuals as well as a full orchestra, with a setlist that will include tracks from Hans’ original scores – including Inception, The Dark Knight, Pirates of The Caribbean, The Lion King and more.

The shows continue Hans’ run around the world, which commenced earlier earlier this year with a sold-out two night run at London’s Wembley Arena before embarking on a 33-city tour that included shows in major European cities including London, Paris, Munich, Prague, Geneva, Dublin and Vienna to name just a few.

The arena concert will be presented in two parts. The first being some of Zimmer’s classic movie scores including Gladiator, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean, and the second will feature re-imagined versions of scores from The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception. Guests from the rock and pop world are due to accompany Hans and his orchestra for some of these tracks – so expect from surprises along the way.

“Performing a concert series like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled to visit Australia and New Zealand and return to Europe where we had so much fun playing in the summer.” said Zimmer. “I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before.”
