In what is promised to be the sixth and final instalment of the Paranormal Activity series, The Ghost Dimension is due out in cinemas on October 22nd and this week Paramount have revealed the first trailer and images from the set. As with many of the past films, they look intent to scare plenty of child actors along the way (namely 6-year old Leila, played by Ivy George).
Gregory Plotkin, who edited the last four films in the franchise, is being entrusted to direct the final instalment of the successful horror series. To date, Paranormal films have grossed some AU$1 Billion worldwide to date. Given the films cost about US$5 million to produce (the first only cost $15,000), that’s pretty much how you print money in the film industry.
The film promises to wrap up all the secrets in the mythology put forward by the last five films. Fans will no doubt be excited by that prospect… Watch the first trailer below and the images follow right after!
Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension is in Australian cinemas just in time for Halloween on October 22nd.
