Nintendo Expands 2015 Line-Up With New Amiibos and Software Bundles

Nintendo has announced its end of year line-up with a vast array of games, bundles and software for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Featuring Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox and Animal Crossing, Nintendo has a great list of upcoming releases featuring their most popular franchises.

Upcoming game releases for the Wii U include Devil’s Third on the 29th of August, followed by Disney Infinity 3.0, Super Mario Maker, Skylanders SuperChargers and LEGO Dimensions in September. Guitar Hero Live, Just Dance 2016, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Star Fox Zero and more round out the rest of the line-up for the year. There are two new Wii U bundles on offer, featuring Super Mario Maker and Xenoblade Chronicles X. The Super Mario Maker Wii U Premium Pack, releases on September 12th, and contains a Wii U Premium pack, Super Mario Maker, a hardcover artbook and classic Mario amiibo. The second bundle includes the newest entry from the Xenoblade series, as well as a console, art book and map, and is released on December 5th.

For the Nintendo 3DS, the line-up includes Skylanders SuperChargers Racing, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes and Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash and more. Two new cover plates for the New Nintendo 3DS featuring Hello Kitty and Yoshi are releasing on November 28th. Several accessories and bundles for the Nintendo 3DS have also been announced, including Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer bundles including special amiibo cards for both the New 3DS and New 3DS XL consoles. Releasing October 3rd is the Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader/Writer accessory that provides amiibo support for all previous 3DS models.

In addition to these exciting releases, several new amiibo are coming over the next few months, with the first of the lot, Classic Colours Mario, releasing September 12th. This figure will be followed closely by the Super Smash Bros Collection featuring Mii Brawler, Duck Hunt Duo, R.O.B. and more, which releases on September 26th. Also on the way is the first series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards in October. This will be followed closely by Animal Crossing amiibo featuring Isabelle, Tom Nook and K.K. Slider, as well as Falco and the Green Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo in November.
