Prison Architect makes the jump to consoles

Introversion Software’s Prison Architect, a simulator that tasks players with building and maintaining a prison of their own design against an limitless tide of angry convicts, is making the jump to current-gen consoles later this year.

Prison Architect will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. If you’d rather not wait, you can play it right now on Windows PC and Mac via Steam. Among the first titles to go into Early Access on Valve’s Steam platform, it launched back in March 2013. A full release didn’t materialise until late last year when Prison Architect finally went gold. During this two year period, the game saw a huge number of updates, changes and new features incorporated by the developer.

At the time of writing,  no confirmed release date for the console version had been set.
