Special screenings of Jaws to take place in Sydney’s Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool this summer

Steven Spielberg’s legendary Jaws is about to become much, much more terrifying with an immersive cinematic experience put on by Art & About Sydney and Golden Age Cinema next January. The concept is fairly simple: the screening will take place at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool right by Sydney Harbour on Woolloomooloo Bay and attendees can either opt for ‘floating’ or ‘beachside’ seating. We’ll let you imagine what ‘floating’ entails.

Whether or not scuba divers will be pulling floaters legs during the movie is unknown, but needless to say, this is going to be wickedly scary.

Each night will also feature fresh seafood on offer, ocean-inspired drinks, and special guests describing their experiences with sharks.

There will be two screenings on 29th January 2016 followed by two screenings on 30th January 2016. Tickets go on sale in November and can be found HERE. And yes, you’re probably going to need a bigger flotation device.

This screening is an initiative of Art & About Sydney. To check out the full program click HERE
