Spider-Man: Homecoming adds Hannibal Buress and Abraham Attah to its cast

The latest Spider-Man reboot has made new additions to an already extensive cast list with new names Hannibal Buress and Abraham Attah.

Becoming increasingly subject to memes, the recent Spider-Man casting has made it clear there will be a myriad of young talent in the franchise overhaul. Already casted lead Tom Holland (as seen in Captain America: Civil War) will now be joined by young phenom Abraham Attah, who made a powerful debut as child soldier Abu in Beasts of No Nation.

Comedian Hannibal Buress has also been added to the cast, however his character is still in speculation, as is much of the plot, with few details released. Buress is in the transition process from stand-up to film, having found roles in the Baywatch reboot and Dave Franco’s The Masterpiece.

The latest castings will join Marisa Tomei (as Aunt May), Michael Keaton (as a villain) and Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Zendaya and Tony Revolori all taking roles in the film.

Jon Watts will direct, and production is expected to start this summer with the film aiming for a release on July 7, 2017.
