With Australia’s biggest popular culture exhibition, Supanova returning in April/June of next year to Melbourne, Gold Coast, Sydney, and Perth, anticipation is high for the rounds of line-up announcements that bring in big, upcoming, and niche stars from all over the world. Next year’s Supanova have managed to lock in some pretty impressive names, spanning TV and film phenomenons such as Game of Thrones, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Hitting up both Melbourne and Gold Coast will be a line-up that includes Jack Gleeson, who played one of televisions most despised villains, Joffrey Baratheon, on Game of Thrones. Joining him will be Wilfred, Smallville, and The Ant Bully star Allison Mack, and Stargate SG-1‘s Teal’c Christopher Judge.
With these three names set to take on the Expo in both Melbourne and Gold Coast, Supanova 2016 is already shaping up to be yet another successful – and diverse – outing for pop culture fans.
Gold Coast: April 9 & 10, 2016 | Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre
Melbourne: April 16 & 17, 2016 | Melbourne Showgrounds
Sydney and Perth will share a line-up in June, headlined by none other than the new Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, who will be appearing in the upcoming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice film. Joining Gal will be one of the man who played one of the most iconic television vampires of all time, long before Twilight and True Blood even existed in the public consciousness; we’re talking James Marsters (AKA, Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer).
Those are two very exciting names for the Sydney/Perth legs, with more expected in the lead-up to the event, bringing in personalities from TV, animation, comics, and literature.
Sydney: June 17 to 19, 2016 | Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park
Perth: June 25 & 26, 2016 | Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre
