Action-packed new trailer for Jurassic World revealed

June 11th couldn’t feel further away now that a new trailer has been released for the highly anticipated, long overdue fourth installment in the iconic Jurassic Park film franchise, Jurassic World. The explosive trailer gives us a comprehensive look at what we’ll be witnessing when Colin Trevorrow’s film is finally released later this year.

From the looks of things, Chris Pratt may be playing some sort of Raptor whisperer, a man who understands the “clever girls” far better than previous JP leads Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum; definitely more than Pete Postlethwaite. Pratts character, Owen, is the only one on the mega successful theme-park island that has the good sense to warn against experimenting with dinosaur hybrids, but of course, his concerns seem to fall on deaf ears.

The hybrid dinosaur, D-Rex, wreaks havoc on the island, killing poor packs of brontosaurus and seemingly commanding pterodactyls to kill humans. While it looks like Pratt takes it upon himself to try stop the hybrid by leading a pack of good guy raptors on his motorbike.

Of course, the above may be a huge misreading of the trailer so take a look and decide for youself. Are we going to see dinosaurs vs dinosaurs + people in Jurassic World?

Jurassic World is released in Australian cinemas on June 11th through Universal Pictures
