Adult Swim has released its slate for its upcoming new pilots, the most interesting of which is a new live-action comedy from the team behind Rick & Morty.
Titled Art Prison, the show sees talented convicts battle for supremacy inside a “prison for the performing arts.”
Writers of Rick & Morty, Tom Kauffman and Paul Isakson co-created the project and are joined by Dan Harmon who will serve as executive producer.
Another exciting addition is a new Robot Chicken special — this one inspired by one of TV’s highest-rated series: The Walking Dead. It is a collaboration between Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich along with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and its showrunner, Scott M. Gimple.
