Tom Cruise and the cast and director of The Mummy talk “Dark Universe” and the film at public Q&A in Sydney

On Tuesday, at Sydney’s World Square, a giant, hand carved Sarcophagus sculpture, build entirely out of sand, was unveiled. Taking 250 man hours to create, it’s reveal was certainly a cause for celebration, so the cast of the film it was inspired by – The Mummy – popped by to show it off and answer a bit of a Q&A along the way. Hollywood came to Sydney last night as the stars of Universal’s The Mummy held its Australian premiere at the iconic State Theatre. Stars Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, Sofia Boutella and Annabelle Wallis were joined by director Alex Kurtzman as they told the attending audience they “hoped the movie scared the shit out of them”.
