Bad Neighbours co-writer’s new comedy The House gets a hilarious debut trailer

The directorial debut of Andrew Jay Cohen, the co-writer of Bad Neighbours, its sequel and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, is hitting cinemas later this year. The House stars Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler as parents who start up an illegal casino in the basement of their friend’s house (Jason Mantzoukas), in order to help pay for their daughter’s college.

The film also stars an impressive ensemble cast including Nick Kroll, Allison Tolman, Michaela Watkins, Ryan Simpkins, Jessie Ennis, Rob Huebel, Cedric Yarbrough and Jeremy Renner.

The first trailer for the film – due out in June – arrived today and you can watch it below. It’s safe to say it’s a pretty hilarious trailer – which you’d have to hope for with a cast that good (and make sure you watch it until the end).

The House hits Australian cinemas on 29th June 2017
