Batgirl DLC coming to Batman: Arkham Knight later this month

Batgirl: A Matter of Family, the first story driven add-on pack for Batman: Arkham City releases July 15 for Season Pass holders and will see Barbara team up with Tim Drake/Robin to crack some criminal skulls.

The add-on marks the first time Batgirl has been a playable character in the entire Arkham franchise and will feature a brand new area to explore, a central mission, side-quests, puzzles and secrets. There’s also a new hacking ability that Batgirl will have all to herself. Dual takedowns when working with Robin will also make a return appearance.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family drops July 15 for those who forked out for the crazy expensive Season Pass. Everyone else will be able to pick it up separately for AU$9.95 when it becomes available to purchase July 22. The add-on is coming to PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. No word on a PC release as, at time of writing, the PC version of Arkham Knight remains pulled from sale until it’s myriad optimisation problems are ironed out.
