Bill Murray is bringing Netflix the greatest Christmas special of all time (we can only expect…)

In 1988, the great Bill Murray brought us the classic Christmas comedy Scrooged. And now, almost 30 years later, everyone’s favourite  funny man is returning for a Christmas special unlike any other. A Very Murray Christmas is coming to Netflix later this year, and a brief trailer has been released to tease and excite us. And believe us, we’re excited. And our expectations are super high. As the teaser shows, there are a huge amount of guests in the show, from French group Phoenix to George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Miley Cyrus and Paul Shaffer from The Late Show with David Letterman. Though he’ll always be Artie Fufkin to us.

This winter, Bill Murray brings an extra-special dose of holiday cheer to Netflix with the premiere of an all-star musically-driven holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas. Set inside New York City’s iconic Carlyle hotel, A Very Murray Christmas opens with Murray preparing to host a live, international holiday broadcast. After a blizzard shuts down the production, he makes the best of the situation by singing and celebrating with friends, hotel employees and anyone else who drops by.

A Very Murray Christmas will be available exclusively on Netflix from December 4th.
