BlizzCon 2015: Heroes of the Storm gets new heroes, Arena mode

Blizzard have revealed a number of new goodies for their free-to-play MOBA/brawler Heroes of the Storm, including new Heroes and a brand new Arena mode.

Blizzard says that Arena Mode will “challenge how you think about the game.” The mode asks players to pick from three random Heroes and are given one hero ability with specific objectives. It’s playable on the show floor this weekend and Blizzard dropped a trailer to go with it.

Additionally, new Heroes will be joining the fray. Blizzard announced during the opening ceremonies of today’s BlizzCon fan convention that new Heroes will include Greymane, Lunara and Cho-Gall (who you’ll be able to play this month if you’re either at the show or purchased a virtual ticket) from World of Warcraft. Also being added to the game is Overwatch character Tracer.

Heroes of the Storm is free-to-play on PC and Mac via Battle.net.
