B&O Play release the futuristic Earset in Australia

B&O PLAY today presents Earset, the evolution of a Bang & Olufsen design icon. Earset comes with state-of-the-art wireless audio technology, world-class Bang & Olufsen Signature Sound and a fresh look for the next generation, while preserving the flexible design aspects that led to the success of the original.

Iconic high-end brand Bang & Olufsen and their subset B&O Play have recently lifted the lid on Earset, a new audio essential with state-of-the-art wireless technology and a fresh, futuristic aesthetic that builds upon the flexible design aspects of the original. Adaptation seems to be at the forefront of this series, with an adjustment system on the earphones that lets users modify the angle of the earbud, the height of the piston, and the curve of the earhook individually to ensure a perfect fit.

These will break the bank though, which is to be expected of most products falling under the Bang & Olufsen brand. Although they always seem to make up for it with their signature sound profile, and here is no exception as not only do these earphones rotate and stretch in three different dimensions, but they also feature acoustics built around a 14.2mm speaker unit with a neobymium magnet. The cabinet behind the speaker unit has two acoustic vents and a bass port to optimise sound performance while digital equalisers inside the Bluetooth chipset are used to fine tune the final sound performance, and the grill on the earbuds is designed with inspiration from the hole pattern on the brand’s super successful Beoplay A1, meaning optimal sound dispersion.

“We are extremely proud of our design heritage, and the original Earset has been a long-lasting favourite due to their flexible, yet precise industrial design and acoustic brilliance”, said B&O Play Concept and Design Manager Jakob Kristoffersen. “We are excited to bring forward the new Earset that has been updated with wireless technology and a classic update hue and satin”.

B&O Play are promising five hours of battery life for the new Earset, which also comes with an in-line anodised aluminium remote with three buttons and a built-in microphone which lets users control the music, take calls, and activate Siri or Google Assistant via their smartphone. It is available in Graphite Brown and White and retails for AUD $499. Information on where you can find them across Australia can be found HERE.
