The 10 Best Comic Stories That Should Be Made Into Video Games

Comic book stories make for some great game adaptations, with the likes of Batman: Under the Hood and Ultimate Spider-Man receiving the video game treatment. As mentioned in our previous article, XII and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction were both based on stellar comic runs, while games like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Injustice took only loose inspiration from their comic counterparts. TV Review: Marvel’s Daredevil, Season 2 (USA, 2016)

In 2015 Netflix teamed up with Marvel to bring us Marvel’s Daredevil, and it was a revelation. Not only was it a gritty realisation of one of the comic world’s dark anti-heroes but it showed that viewers weren’t just interested but eager to see this sort of grimy real-world depiction of the character. This was followed-up later in the year by Jessica Jones which also scored both critical and viewer reviews. So now in the Marvel Television Universe they have Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and soon to come Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 has landed, here’s our initial thoughts

It’s almost been a year since Netflix brought us the first season of Marvel’s Daredevil. For comic fans it was finally an adaptation worthy of the source material. For TV viewers it was a phenomenon to watch with its gritty and dark setting, intricate conspiracy narrative and complex flawed characters. It was a ratings juggernaut as the streaming numbers skyrocketed, within 24 hours a second season was announced.
