Documentary about Noma and René Redzepi gets a trailer

With countless established restaurants around the world, the title of “Best Restaurant in the World” is one that cannot be taken lightly, and it has belonged to Copenhagen restaurant Noma on more than one occasion. What Chef René Redzepi has done with Noma has attracted people from all over the world, so immortalising his journey on the big screen makes perfect sense, especially with Noma set to shut up shop and move here to Sydney, Australia for 10 weeks.

Titled Noma: My Perfect Storm, the documentary chronicles Redzepi’s ambitious journey to reclaim the “Best Restaurant in the World’ title after losing it in 2013. As you’ll see from the trailer, the highs and lows seem to be captured with vivid detail as we get a close look at the type of creativity seen in Noma as well as the personality behind it all.

Director Pierre Deschamps ran a successful Indiegogo campaign so that this documentary will see wider release, and it’s just about to debut in New York later this year. Undoubtedly, Australians will get a chance to see the film eventually, and hopefully it’s sooner than later because it looks like a really in-depth exploration of Noma and what it takes to run the best restaurant in the world.

Watch the trailer below and click HERE where bookings for Noma Australia will open on Friday 30th October at 10am AEDT.
