Dr Dre shares unreleased Compton track featuring T.I, Justus, and Victoria Monét

2015 smash hit Compton was a successful return outing from Dr Dre, bringing in a bevy of old, new, and future legends to craft one of the year’s best hip hop releases. We’ve already heard a few tracks from the cutting room floor, but now it seems Dre has more in his bag, debuting one of those previously unheard tracks on Apple’s Beats 1 this week.

Featuring ATL emcee T.I as well as vocalists Justus, Victoria Monét, and Sly Piper, the track, “Back to Business”, has that similar dark, bouncy sound that characterises much of the material on Compton, featuring two stellar verses from Dre and Tip while their companions each ground the track with their own smooth styles. Listen to the track below via Soundcloud.

This is the third time Dr Dre has come together with T.I for an unreleased track, with the first two – “Shit Popped Off” and “Topless” – being reference tracks Tip recorded for the good doctor, both which were meant to be on the now ill-fated Detox.
