Forza Horizon 3 goes gold and reveals Warthog, achievement list and PC specs

Forza Horizon 3 has gone gold and to celebrate, Xbox have revealed the inclusion of Halo‘s Warthog as a driveable vehicle, the game’s Xbox Live achievements, and specs required to run the game on PC.

The Warthog, made famous by the Halo series, will be available at launch for Forza Horizon 3. The vehicle will be free to those who have played either Halo 5: Guardians or Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One.  Codes for the Warthog will be sent to eligible players via Xbox Live message during the week of Sept 5. Though, if you haven’t played any of the Halo games but still want to try out the Warthog, players will have the chance to earn the vehicles via a special #Forzathin event coming to Forza Horizon 3 in October. We don’t know about you, but we want the Warthog to handle exactly as it does in the Halo series. Tearing up the Outback in one of those monsters will be its own reward.

Alongside the announcement of the Warthog, Playground Games has also released the achievement list for the entire game. Achievements range from winning your first Street Race, to performing a Barrel Roll in any Buggy. For achievement hunters, Forza Horizon 3 will have enough to keep you occupied for a long time.

For those who plan to play Forza Horizon 3 on superior hardware, Playground Games release the recommended PC Specs list. The latest entry will require DirectX 12-enabled machines and, of course, Windows 10.

You can find the complete PC Specs and achievement list here.

Forza Horizon 3 is set to release on September 27 for Xbox One and Windows PC.
