Freddie Wong in live action short to celebrate arrival of Blizzard’s Heroes Brawl; Blademaster Samuro arrives in the Nexus

Blizzard‘s Heroes of the Storm brand new game mode, Heroes Brawl, has made its launch and to celebrate Blizzard have teamed up with American Youtube outfit, and RocketJump to create a hilarious live action short.

After a horrifying laptop incident, Freddie Wong ends up in the Nexus where he comes face to face with Tracer, Sylvanas Windrunner, and various characters from the Blizzard Universe. Thrust into battle Freddie must attempt to come out on top.

Blizzard has treated Heroes of the Storm fans to some massive news over the past month, including, the unveiling of the hugely popular and highly sort after hero, Samuro.  Reddit fans have been pleading for the Warcraft III Blademaster to make his way to the Heroes of the Storm universe for quite some time, finally, they can rejoice as the assassin has been made available to play in the Nexus.

Samuro can be expected to perform his basic abilities in the battlefield, including Whirlwind, Illusion Master, and Mirror Image.

  • Mirror Image will allow Samuro to create two images of himself that deal 30% damage and have 50% of his current health for up to 18 seconds. Illusion Master will be included alongside this ability, which allows him to switch places with one of his mirror image clones.
  • Critical strike will amplify the heroes basic attack to become a 50% extra damage critical hit for 10 seconds.
  • Wind Walk will allow him to enter stealth mode for up to eight seconds where he receives a 25% increase in speed.
