Gourmet Cinema returns to Melbourne this March

Gourmet Cinema will be returning to Melbourne this March, calling upon six of the city’s best restaurants to complement an eclectic film program screemed at the Caufield Racecourse. The annual outdoor movie and food experience will feature food and drink from four restaurants per session, with one hero restaurant taking creative licence with a special movie-inspired menu each night.

For opening night, popular Mexican hotspot Hotel Jesus and Head Chef Luke Hammond will be that hero restaurant, popping up alongside others as the outdoor cinema screens Chef. Needless to say, guests can expect an extensive “taste of Mexico” menu. Other screening-chef pairings include Shannon Bennett and Benny Burger working with a screening of Top Gun; award-winning La La Land teamed with Uncle; Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Mamasita; the always fun Before Midnight with Hellenic Republic, and more.

Gourmet Cinema pops up from 1st to 4th and 8th to 11th of March, kicking off at 6pm each day with the movie starting at 8:15pm. Tickets are priced from $22.50 and can be found HERE.
