Harry Styles joins Christopher Nolan’s war film Dunkirk

Christopher Nolan‘s war epic Dunkirk has added One Direction singer Harry Styles to its cast.

It’s unknown how Styles’ character will fit into the film’s depiction of the British military evacuation of the titular French city of Dunkirk during the Second World War.

Dunkirk will be Styles’ feature film debut and word is he’ll be sharing a screen with Jack Lowden, Aneurin Barnard and Fionn Whitehead alongside the confirmed Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh.

Dunkirk is set for release on July 21, 2017.
