Aussie comedian Julia Zemiro has packed her bags and headed back out on the road for another round of her popular series Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery, which returns to our screens this Wednesday on ABC1 at 9pm. If you’re new to the series, it features Zemiro as she visits leading figures from the world of sport, entertainment and the media, interviewing them in the places close to their heart to gain a unique insight into their lives unlike anything you see on the typical talk shows.

This season, Zemiro will speak to ten personalities from both Australia and the UK. Across the pond she is set to chat with UK comedians Alan Davies, Matt Lucas and Jo Brand, as well as singer-songwriter Billy Bragg. Down under Zemiro is set to take a trip down memory lane with media heavyweights Ita Buttrose, Leigh Sales and Waleed Aly, as well as meeting up with actress Mandy McElhinney, Paralympian Kurt Fearnley, and celebrity chef Matt Moran.

Make sure you tune in this Wednesday, to catch Ian Thorpe in his first on-screen interview since last year’s famous chat with Michael Parkinson. Zemiro chats with Ian whilst travelling to the C&M Aquatic Centre (Padstow Pool) where he trained; to One Personal Training Solutions, which is run by his friend and training partner Christian; to his primary school, Milperra Public; and to Cronulla Beach and the North Cronulla Surf Lifesaving Club to visit Les Motto, who was his boxing coach during his early 20s.

Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery is set to air each week Wednesday at 9pm on ABC1. If you miss an episode don’t stress, you can catch up on ABC iview.
