Jurassic World Evolution 2 announced, life has found a way

Jurassic World Evolution 2

Frontier Developments has announced Jurassic World Evolution 2, a sequel to its 2018 park management hit.

The game will launch as a tie-in to Jurassic World DominionThe trailer depicts two new biomes that will hopefully come to the finished game. The first, and briefest glimpse, is of a windswept desert landscape. The second, much clearer biome is a mountainous, heavily wooded North American area, sometime in the autumn. The dinosaurs inhabit a muddy forest turning brown as winter approaches. Snow-capped mountains jut toward the sky on the horizon.

We get a glimpse of a couple of new dinosaurs in the mix, from pteranodons to that huge waterborne bastard from Jurassic World. Indeed, Frontier’s announcement promises over 75 dinosaurs to breed and house. The whole trailer is set to the dulcet tones of Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum, who returns as your primary narrator and occasional advisor.

Beyond this, not much else is known about the game just yet, but merely the knowledge that it’s coming is enough for us.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 coming later in 2021 to Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X|S.
