Australian Box Office Report: Justice League round out a very strong top 3 in cinema

Film Review: Justice League (USA, 2017) is a fun yet inconsistent ride that breezes by on the charm of its cast

It’s been something of an arduous trek but the Justice League have finally made their way to the big screen.  Long before Joss Whedon earned the tick of approval from comic enthusiasts the world over with his take on The Avengers, George Miller (Mad Max, Happy Feet) was planning on brining the titular crew to cineplexes in an ambitious actioner where the likes of Armie Hammer and Megan Gale were to play Batman and Wonder Woman, respectively.  The 2007-2008 Writers Strike and multiple delays regarding shooting locations ultimately led to the film’s demise, and DC threw their weight behind the remainder of Christopher Nolan‘s Dark Knight trilogy, leaving the proposed Justice League little more than a pipe dream.... First trailer for Justice League sees DC’s potpourri of Superheroes come together

One of the year’s most anticipated superhero films is without question WB’s Justice League, which is bringing together a slew of DC’s most well known comic book heroes into one film – based of course after the comic books of the same name. Cyborg to appear in DC’s The Flash movie in lead up to own film?

It was reported exclusively this week by Variety, that, according to sources, the iconic DC character Cyborg will make an appearance in the standalone The Flash movie, due for release in 2018. The inclusion in the film – alongside the character’s appearance in next year’s Justice League –  is expected to line things up for the character to get his own standalone film in 2020....
