Me Before You brings a heartwarming take in its extended debut trailer

Based on the critically acclaimed book with the same title written by Jojo Moyes, Me Before You stars Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games series). The romantic title is directed by Thea Sharrock, with the film being her directorial debut.

The story follows 26-year old Louisa “Lou” Clark (Clarke) who lives in a town in the English countryside. Having no clear path in life, Louisa switches between jobs quickly in order to help make ends meet for her close-knit family. Cheerful and enthusiastic in her character, she undertakes a new challenge by accepting a job as a caregiver at a local “castle” for young banker Will Traynor (Claflin); a wealthy banker who became wheelchair-bound after an accident two years prior.

With Will being adventurous in his past, he no longer has the same outlook in life as the accident turned him into a cynical and bitter person.  With Louisa’s determination, she strives to show him that life is worth living.  They then embark on a unique and adventurous journey together, finding that their lives and hearts are changing in so many ways – more than what they had anticipated.
