Overwatch‘s latest patch nerfs McCree, rebalances Widowmaker

The PC version of Overwatch has received a patch this week that significantly altered two of the game’s more popular characters. Blizzard’s new deal with Facebook lets you stream Hearthstone, Overwatch straight to your FB feed

It’s going to be easier than its ever been to log into your Battle.Net account soon. Blizzard have announced a new deal with Facebook that will allow players to livestream games directly to their newsfeeds and log in using their Facebook credentials. Hands-on with Overwatch on Xbox One

The “hallowed ground” that is FPS, as Overwatch Lead Game Designer Jeff Kaplan puts it, is one of the final frontiers for the Blizzard to really explore. Being a diehard PC gamer, I generally give console games, particularly console FPS, a wide berth. I’ll admit that I’m guilty of scoffing when I heard about Overwatch‘s announcement; the thought of a Blizzard console FPS seemed a little too optimistic. The 5 best games of April so far, and what we can’t wait to play in May

April is known as a “dry season” month in which very few video games are released. This time of year, the AAA hype train is usually slowing its roll, playing its cards to its chest as E3 looms in the middle-distance. 2016 has been bucking the trend though! March was full of great games! And then April followed up with some amazing games. And now May is promising to be an even BIGGER embarrassment of gaming riches.
