Paris Games Week 2015: Boundless announced for PS4, see the first trailer here

Boundless is an open-world sandbox title created by developer Wonderstruck. The game is also being built for PC with a view to leveraging cross-play functionality. Check out the rather lovely first trailer after the jump.

The trailer features an unseen player character that treks across a number of different areas, accessing portals to jump between them. Players can hunt, work for in-game money, stake a claim on any part of the map that looks appealing or divvy up available resources among their friends and create a guild. Each world contains Titans, ancient, thinking fortresses that will “menacingly stalk the landscape searching for anything they perceive as a threat,” says the blog post. “These apex predators are filled with traps and swarming with deadly Protectors.

“Attempted alone, your only hope is to explore, survive and escape with a handful of valuable resources. If you’re feeling brave, call together all the citizens of your adopted world and attempt the impossible — defeat the Titan.”

No release window has been announced as yet.
