Robot House’s Rumu releases next week because you deserve an early Christmas present

Sydney developer Robot House’s second major title and PAX Aus 2017 indie favourite Rumu will launch next week according to a press release from the studio today.

Rumu, an adventure title about a little robot vacuum cleaner that lives in a smart home and its journey to self-awareness. Rumu lives with the smart house’s AI Sabrina and the house’s owners, David and Cecily. Rumu’s job is to keep the house clean and tidy, but over time its daily cleaning cycle begins to hint at something darker going on in the house. You check out the launch trailer embedded below.

We only got to spend a little time with Rumu at PAX Aus 2017 due to the intense interest on the show floor from press and punters alike (we’re not complaining, having your booth crowded out like that must have been wild for the RH team) but what we played, we really enjoyed.

Rumu will launch for Windows PC on Steam December 13. You can wishlist it here if you want to notified as soon as its live. Trust us, you’re gonna want to play it, and doing so supports a fabulous new local developer.
