Sir Elton John confirms his role in Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Following speculation last month, musician Sir Elton John has taken to Instagram to confirm his place in the upcoming Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

While John gives nothing away regarding the specifics of his role, he captioned the image, a Kingsman poster featuring his signature sunglasses, with a reference to his last on-screen feature film role in 1975.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle stars Taaron Egerton, reprising his role as Eggsy, and Mark Strong, likewise returning to the role of Merlin, as the pair head to the U.S. to confront the American equivalent of the Kingsman.

Egerton and Strong will star alongside Halle Berry, Changing Tatum, Julianne Moore and Pedro Pascal, under the direction of Matthew Vaughn.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is released in the U.S on June 16.
