Suits will be back for a seventh season at USA Network

Suits is now USA Network’s longest-running drama, and it looks like it will keep on keeping on as show runners announced Wednesday that the series from Aaron Korsh would return for a seventh season.

The announcement comes as season six of the series approaches its mid-season finale scheduled to air on Aug. 10. Suits is currently averaging 3 million total viewers per episode in the USA, which includes live viewing and delayed playback audiences.

With Suits continuing to perform well across the board, a seventh season will mean the series will become one of the few US scripted series to reach the 100-episode accolade.

Suits stars Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres and is being produced by Universal Cable Productions and executive produced by Aaron Korsh. Suits airs in Australia on the Universal Channel on Foxtel, screening express from the USA.
