Sydney Film Festival’s Travelling Film Festival comes to Wollongong and Huskisson

Got post Sydney Film Festival sadness? Us too. That’s why we’re ecstatic to learn that The Travelling Film Festival is bringing Ruben Guthrie and Women He’s Undressed to Wollongong’s Greater Union Cinemas.

Brendan Cowell, the director, playright, screenwriter & actor of Ruben Guthriewill be in attendance of the film’s opening night in Wollongong where he will take part in a special audience Q&A after the film on Friday 21 August.

Over in Huskisson, Sydney Film Festival will bring Gillian Armstrong’s new documentary, Women He’s Undressed, detailing the life of Academy Award-winning Hollywood costume designer Orry-Kelly. This fantastic opportunity will be screening at Huskisson Pictures from 28 to 30 August. 

 These two new Australian films are part of a stellar line-up of global cinema on the road for the 2015 Travelling Film Festival, screening in Wollongong from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August. Tickets to the Wollongong leg of Australia’s longest running travelling film festival, a Sydney Film Festival initiative, are on sale now!
