Jewish International Film Festival Review: The Last Laugh (USA, 2016)

Everybody has their own line with respect to what they consider funny versus what is taboo. For some people there is no topic or thing that is off limits while others believe that some subjects – irrespective of the quality of the joke –are in poor taste. The Last Laugh is a documentary that examines all of the different sides to this argument while framing things through the prism that is the Holocaust. The Jewish International Film Festival announces a stellar Australian line-up, opening with critically acclaimed Biopic Denial

The Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) has announced it 2016 Australian line-up, featuring 66 international premiere features and 19 documentaries alongside it’s opening and closing films, critically acclaimed Biopic Denial, and provocative documentary The Last Laugh. The biggest year yet approaches for the Jewish International Film Festival

The Jewish International Film Festival will build on its 26-year history as a platform for Jewish films in Australia when it returns on in October, beginning in Sydney on 26th October to 23rd November and then traveling across Australia and New Zealand before wrapping up in Canberra in November.
