Tom Hardy’s Star Wars: Episode VIII cameo revealed!

Arguably one of the worst-kept secrets of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was Daniel Craig‘s not-so-secret secret cameo.

In case you missed it, the James Bond actor appears as a stormtrooper, codename JB-007, during Rey’s interrogation scene. Craig was among several notable stars to cameo as stormtroopers/glorified extras.

A report via Making Star Wars this week indicates that Tom Hardy (Mad Max) could be set to pull the same move.

In fact, Making Star Wars have been kind enough to pull out a few key facts that’ll help you spot Hardy, other than just assuming he’ll be the beefy-but-kind type.

Hardy’s cameo is yet to be officially confirmed but based on the level of detail in Making Star Wars’ coverage, it looks like a pretty sure thing.

Production for Star Wars: Episode VIII is currently underway under the watchful eye of director Rian Johnson.
