The Elder Scrolls Online is heading to Morrowind

Erstwhile adventurers in Bethesda’s massively multiplayer online role playing game The Elder Scrolls Online will soon find themselves headed to the island of Vvardenfell, north of one of the series’ most iconic locales, Morrowind.

The expansion will contain a wealth of new material for players in addition to the massive new zone. Bethesda’s press release promises  a 30-hour content drop of story content, a new player class called The Warden (a nature-based magic class those who’ve played 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons will be quite familiar with), a new Trial and a brand new 4v4v4 PvP mode.

Wanna see a trailer? ‘Course you do.

Heading to the official Elder Scrolls Online site reveals that pre-orders for a physical Collector’s Edition (which includes an in-character journal, a Dwarven Collossus statue and a map of Morrowind itself) as well as a Digital Collector’s Edition filled with unique skins and mounts, a Standard Edition, and upgrades for both for those who already own the game.

While the site links Australian punters to the EB Games page, it doesn’t appear that EB have the game up just yet (though we are sure that will change shortly). Bethesda did provide Australian pricing, however, and they are as follows:

  • Physical Collector’s Edition: AUD$139.95 / NZD $149.99
  • Physical Standard Edition
    • PS4/XBONE: AUD$99.95 / NZD$119.99
    • PC: AUD$89.95 / NZD$99.99
  • Upgrade Edition: AUD$59.95 / NZD$69.95
  • Digital Collector’s Edition: AUD$114.95 / NZD$139.95
  • Digital Collector’s Upgrade: AUD$99.95 / NZD$119.95

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind launches globally on June 6, 2017. It is on its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Mac.
