Total War will take gamers to ancient China with ‘Three Kingdoms’

Come Spring 2018, SEGA will be blessing Total War fans with a new entry into the long-established historical strategy series. Total War: Three Kingdoms will be the next major title up Creative Assembly’s highly successful sleeve, and for the very first time it will be taking gamers to explore ancient China.

Set in 190CE, the game will feature ancient China in turmoil, with the Han Dynasty crumbling before the child-emperor, a puppet for tyrant Dong Zhuo. The anarchist premise will give rise to three protagonists, “sworn to brotherhood in the face of calamity”, navigating an environment that illustrates the dramatic story with the artistic style of the age.

It’s looking like a good one here, so make sure you check out the trailer below and keep your eyes peeled for Total War: Three Kingdoms releasing on PC later this year.
