For the first time in its history, the iconic face that welcomes guests into Sydney’s historic Luna Park was lit up by projections over the weekend, promoting the upcoming release of Terminator Genisys. The projections were created by renowned projection designer Peter Milne from The Electric Canvas.

The work turned the already rather frightening face (for some) into the a bizarro version of the T-800 Terminator face, while characters from the upcoming film were also displayed.

Whether or not the light display will be back is unconfirmed.

The famous entrance was illuminated the evening of Friday June 26 and Saturday June 27. Watch the video that shows off the projection in action here:

Terminator Genisys is in cinemas nationally on July 1st.
